T20 CHAMPIONSHIP
The World Youth T20 Championship brings together elite under-16 and under-19 cricket talent from leading cricket nations throughout the world. Held over 12 days across premier UAE venues the tournament features a competitive round-robin format followed by knockout stages to crown the champions in each category.

Event Dates and Duration
The tournament will take place in the UAE from April 14th to April 26th. The tournament follows a T20 format, with each team guaranteed a minimum of four matches. The event will culminate in a final match between the top two teams, ensuring a thrilling conclusion to the 10-day competition.

The World Youth T20 Championship will be held across two key cricketing hubs in the UAE: Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
Matches will take place at world-class venues, including the iconic Zayed Cricket Stadium and the renowned Sharjah International Cricket Stadium.

Travel
Arrangements
All competitors will enjoy direct flights to the UAE, with flights, accommodation, three meals per day, and transportation fully covered in the tournament package.
Upon arrival, participants will be transported from the airport to their hotel via bus. Throughout the event, logistics will be seamlessly managed, with buses shuttling players and staff between the hotel, match venues, masterclass sessions, and cultural excursions for hassle-free travel.
Accommodation
Participants will stay in 4-star shared accommodation conveniently located near their respective cricket venues. These hotels offer a comfortable and secure environment, ensuring players can rest and recover between matches.
Each hotel provides modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, recreational facilities, and access to healthy dining options to meet athletes’ nutritional needs. The close proximity to stadiums minimises travel time, allowing teams to focus on performance and enjoy a seamless tournament experience.

The competition will follow a T20 format, ensuring fast-paced and exciting matches. Each participating team will play a minimum of four matches during the tournament, providing ample opportunity for every player to showcase their skills.

Participants will receive healthy and nutritious meals throughout the tournament to support their performance and well-being. Our meal options will focus on balanced nutrition to ensure athletes have the energy for competition and training. Local Weather
April in the UAE offers absolutely beautiful weather, with temperatures ranging from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius (77 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit), creating perfect playing conditions for the tournament. To ensure participants are well-prepared, we recommend they wear appropriate sun protection and hats to shield themselves from the sun during matches and activities.
Visa Requirements
All competitors and school representatives should ensure they contact us well in advance to address any visa requirements for travelling to the UAE. We recommend starting this process as early as possible to ensure a smooth journey.
